Dignity and respect
This may be an easy statement to say but actually its meaning runs to the core of what it means to be a human being. Institutions seem to operate as though an assembly line mechanistic, someone puts on the door, an engine and yet another puts on a tyre. Similarly there are people who give pills to people, who take notes, who when people are crying and need to talk to someone walk away. Too often the institutions and organisations reduce people in distress to the level of a car and by the same token they reduce people working in them to the status of robots.
Sharing Voices does not and will not do this; we will give respect and dignity to all people that come into contact with Sharing Voices.
