Hamdard
Hamdard is a community faith based south Asian women’s self help group. It aims to bring together women from all South Asian Backgrounds, promotes a holistic approach to mental health and well being, taking into account women’s lived experiences, in a warm and friendly environment. The word ‘Hamdard’ means ‘companion’ or ‘someone who gives support’.
At Hamdard we listen, talk and laugh together. The group decides what activities to undertake. Here are some of the things that they do together:
