Dynamic Charity seeks Volunteers with GSOH

Sharing Voices (Bradford) a dynamic charity working with local people living with mental distress, stigma and isolation seeks volunteers and Trustees with GSOH (good sense of humour) and CJS (a Commitment to a Just Society) to assist in key roles that will enable the charity to move ahead with plans it has to address the needs of local people.

Sharing Voices (Bradford) presently works with minority African, African Caribbean and Asian communities and seeks to expand its provision to minority Eastern European and Irish communities within the Bradford District. People from these communities suffer increased levels of stigmatisation, lack of jobs and experience greater involvement within the mental system. Sharing Voices (Bradford) is working towards removing these barriers and enable the development of services that are just, equitable and meet the needs of all people.

Along with GSOH, commitment, energy and drive Sharing Voices (Bradford) seeks volunteers who have an interest and expertise in IT, Marketing, Economics, social and mental health work and fundraising. So, if you want make a real difference to local issues and the lives of local vulnerable people then call us and see if we fit the bill. As a charity on the move we invest considerable time and energy in making your involvement with us rewarding, a time of learning and most important of all we offer a comprehensive package of volunteer support.
