Transparency and Accountability
Sharing Voices believes in transparency and accountability and believe firmly that we are accountable to people and communities we are engaging with, to our funders as well as partner or stakeholder organisations. It is for this reason that we produce fully audited accounts and annual report and hold an Annual General Members
Meeting. We have in place a compliments and complaints procedure and welcome feedback on all areas of our work. To download our compliments and complaints procedures please click onto the link and or write to the chair and or manager of Sharing Voices.
Sharing Voices is also striving hard to improve the way we work and have achieved Level 1 of PQASSO (Practical Quality Assurance Scheme for Small Organisations). PQASSO has allowed us to improve the quality of policies and practices through being more focused on issues and planning and being able to confront weaknesses and recognize strengths. It has re-affirmed the importance of working together with members/volunteers at grassroots level to ensure the organization meets the need of their service users.
Sharing Voices would like to thank Morgan Kai for their support and supervision in helping us to achieve the standard. A special appreciation goes to Mike Bolton (consultant from Morgan Kai).
